Scope and current service

This policy applies to the public RxTray website and its calculators and reference tools. The service currently does not require an account, accept payments, or display advertising.

Calculator data

Values entered into calculator fields and the results produced from them are processed in the browser on the user's device. RxTray does not intentionally transmit those values or calculated results to its server, Google Analytics, or an advertiser.

Tool suggestions

The optional “Suggest a tool” form stores the requested tool name, intended use, audience, source or example link, optional contact email, page from which the form was submitted, and submission time. This information is used to evaluate and prioritize additions to the RxTray library and, when an email is supplied, to ask for clarification. Submissions are not sent to Google Analytics or used for advertising.

To reduce automated abuse, RxTray creates a salted, one-way daily hash from the submitting IP address and limits the number of suggestions associated with that hash. The raw IP address is not stored in the suggestion record, and the daily hash is not intended to identify a person across days.

Protected health information

Do not enter names, medical-record numbers, full dates of birth, case narratives, free-text notes, images, or other identifiers in calculators or submission forms. RxTray is not offered as a HIPAA-compliant record system, and the tools are designed to work with the minimum numeric and categorical inputs needed for a calculation.

Technical request data

The hosting and security providers may process ordinary request data needed to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, browser and device information, requested URL, time, and security signals. Their handling of that information is governed by their own terms and privacy practices.

Optional Google Analytics

With the user's permission, RxTray uses Google Analytics 4 to measure page views. The measurement may process the page URL and title, approximate location derived from IP address, browser and device information, referring page, visit timing, and a randomly generated browser identifier. RxTray configures the integration not to send calculator inputs, calculated results, on-site search text, form submissions, or custom clinical events. Google Signals and ad-personalization signals are disabled.

Google may process analytics information as a service provider under its own terms and privacy documentation. Analytics data may be processed in the United States or other countries where Google operates. See Google's Privacy Policy and Google Analytics privacy information.

Cookies and consent

Google Analytics is not loaded until a user selects “Allow analytics.” If allowed, Google may set identifiers such as _ga and property-specific _ga_* cookies. The RxTray consent choice is stored in the browser's local storage. Users can decline analytics or reopen “Privacy choices” in the footer and change their decision. Withdrawing consent blocks future analytics loading and attempts to remove RxTray's Google Analytics cookies. More detail appears in the Cookie and Consent Policy.

Sensitive information and advertising

RxTray does not sell calculator inputs, results, or tool suggestions; use them to build advertising profiles; create remarketing audiences based on a person's use of a medical tool; or enable Google advertising features. Future advertising, if any, will follow the Advertising, Sponsorship, and Affiliate Policy and require a separate compliance review before activation.

External links

Evidence citations and other external links lead to third-party sites with their own privacy practices. Opening those links may allow the third party to receive ordinary request information.

Retention and security

RxTray does not retain calculator inputs or results. Tool suggestions are retained while they are evaluated, planned, implemented, or needed to document the request history; optional contact information will be removed when it is no longer reasonably needed. Analytics and technical logs may be retained according to the applicable service configuration and provider terms. RxTray will use the shortest practical Google Analytics event-data retention setting available for its measurement needs. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Children

RxTray is directed to healthcare professionals and adult users, not children under 13, and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Privacy rights and signals

RxTray does not maintain user accounts or intentionally collect calculator data, so it generally has no calculator record to access, correct, or delete. Users can disable future analytics through “Privacy choices” and can use browser controls to clear locally stored identifiers. Requests concerning an identifiable tool submission may be made through the Contact page once the monitored privacy address is published. If a future service sells or shares personal information for targeted advertising, RxTray will provide the required opt-out mechanism and honor legally required preference signals.

Policy changes

Material changes will be dated and published on this page. Policies are not silently rewritten by an automated system.
