RxTrayClinical toolkit

Advertising and sponsorship

Commercial support must never blur a clinical answer.

RxTray does not currently display paid advertising, sponsored clinical content, or affiliate recommendations. These rules apply before any such program may launch.

Current status

No advertiser, sponsor, affiliate merchant, or ad network currently funds or selects RxTray clinical content. The presence of this policy does not mean ads are active.

Editorial firewall

Advertisers and sponsors may not select formulas, thresholds, citations, reviewer conclusions, search rankings, related-tool placement, warnings, or clinical language. Commercial payment does not qualify a source as evidence or a product as clinically preferred.

Clear labeling

Paid placements will be labeled “Advertisement” or “Sponsored” in language that is difficult to miss and understandable before a user engages with the content. Affiliate relationships will be disclosed beside the relevant link or recommendation, not only on this policy page.

Clinical placement boundaries

Ads may not appear inside an input form, result panel, warning, acknowledgement gate, compatibility cell, evidence table, or in a position that could be mistaken for a clinical action. Ads may not imitate buttons, alerts, navigation, calculated results, or institutional endorsements.

Sensitive health data

Calculator inputs and results may not be sent to an ad platform, used for personalized advertising, used to create health-based audiences, or included in remarketing segments. RxTray intends to favor contextual rather than health-profile-based advertising.

Advertiser eligibility

RxTray may reject or remove promotions that are deceptive, unsafe, discriminatory, exploitative, inconsistent with evidence, or unsuitable for a clinical audience. Health claims require appropriate substantiation. Ads for unlawful products, counterfeit products, unapproved cures, or content designed to undermine safe medication use are prohibited.

Sponsored and affiliate content

Sponsored educational material must identify the sponsor and undergo the same source, limitation, and correction standards as other published content. Affiliate compensation may not change the price shown to a user, conceal reasonable alternatives, or convert a commercial recommendation into a clinical recommendation.

Consent and privacy prerequisites

Before advertising tags are activated, RxTray will update its privacy and cookie disclosures, publish a valid ads.txt authorization, and deploy required consent controls. Where Google advertising requires a certified consent-management platform, ad tags will remain blocked until the applicable consent signal is available.

Complaints and corrections

Concerns about an ad, disclosure, sponsor, or affiliate relationship may be submitted through the Contact page. Commercial content may be removed while a complaint is evaluated.

What tool are we missing?

Tell us the clinical task—not just the calculator name. Strong requests include a guideline, source, or example.

Submissions are reviewed as ideas, not clinical questions. Email is optional and used only if clarification is needed.
